Is creatine safe?
Creatine monohydrate is one of the most-studied supplements in human nutrition. Decades of research support its safety in healthy adults at the standard 3–5g daily dose. As always, ask your doctor if you have kidney concerns or are pregnant.
Will I gain weight?
Creatine pulls water into muscle cells, which can show up as 0.5–1.5kg of water weight in the first weeks. It is not fat. Most people stop noticing it after a month.
Do I need to load?
No. Loading just gets you to muscle saturation faster. Five grams a day reaches the same place in three to four weeks, with less GI stress.
Why capsules instead of powder?
Capsules are easier to take, travel well, don't require water with anything dissolved in it, and don't taste of much. They cost a little more, we think the daily friction is worth it.
